Is desalination a feasible process to provide water to a large city such as Brisbane?
Fresh water can be obtained from sea water by desalination. There are several processes by which this can be done. Discuss these, giving examples of where they are in use.

How many processes do you think I should talk about for desalination?
At the very least you should compare the two main membrane technologies (reverse osmosis & ion separation) with distillation technologies as these are the main commercial opertaions.
